What makes having a GE Fridge Filter so beneficial?
The MSWF GE fridge water filter is first and foremost designed to improve the taste of your drinking water. It also saves loads of money by giving you quality water on tap which can oftentimes be cleaner and more pure than even bottled water. This GE fridge filter is also designed to protect the internal operations of your refrigerator from sediment, dirt and scale build up. By regularly changing your GE fridge water filter you can reduce or avoid servicing costs, and also keep your ice and water dispenser in optimal working condition. The MSWF filter conforms to NSF guidelines, and is made with only NSF/ANSI compliant materials. As a quality replacement filter, the cartridge itself undergoes a series of rigorous air flow tests to ensure its durability.
How long should my GE Fridge Water Filter last?
Refrigerator manufacturers strongly recommend that fridge water filters be replaced at least every 6 months or when the "change filter" light comes on. However, if you notice the clarity or taste of your water changing, that's the best indication that it's time for a change! A routine 6 month change-out cycle ensures that your water stays fresh and your refrigerator's ice & water mechanisms are protected from corrosion.
