LG Fridge Filter - LT800P-3

This filter suits LG LT800P

What does the "-3" mean at the end of some of the fridge filter codes?

Discount Fridge Filters has been providing quality replacement filters at the most competitive prices for over 15 years now.  Our customers are savvy enough to know that refrigerator manufacturers don't make their own filters, they buy them from filter manufacturers.  They want a quality option without paying for the brand name. We will never compromise in quality, so we made sure we could offer such an option for all our popular filters: hence the range of "-3" filters.  They are subjected to the same range of rigorous testing to ensure you get the best quality AND the best price!

How long should my LG Fridge Filter last?

LG recommends that fridge water filters be replaced up to every 6 months or when the "change filter" light comes on. However, if you notice a deterioration in the clarity or taste of your water, that's the best indication that it's time for a new filter! By regularly changing the LT800P-3 filter you can reduce or avoid servicing costs, and keep your ice and water dispenser in optimal working order.  Filter replacement is quick and easy.

What does the LT800P-3 remove from your water?

Chlorine, asbestos, atrazine, benzene, carbofuran, lindane, lead, mercury and cysts, P-Dicholorobenzene, Class I particulates, Toxaphene and 2,4 -Dichlrophonoxyacetic Acid (2,4-D).

How easy is it to install or change the LG Fridge Filter? Much easier than you think!

1 - Remove the old water filter

Lift up and remove the lower door bin from the left-hand refrigerator door. Swing the right end of the water filter out of the compartment and then grasp and rotate the filter counterclockwise to remove it from the filter head.

Note: replacing the water filter could cause a small amount of water to drain. Place a cup under the filter head to catch any water.

2 - Replace with a new water filter.

Insert the new filter into the filter head and rotate it clockwise until the arrow on the new filter lines up with the arrow on the filter head. Swing the filter back into the compartment.

Refit the door bin.  That's it!
